Our Story

Diversity Church comes from a strong foundation in Christ's love, and deep roots in God's Word.  Our Church's design is from 1 Corinthians 12, where we put a strong focus on every one, no matter what path they may have been on, is created with a purpose and a diverse strength to advance the Kingdom of God.  We began as The Lighthouse Church, and as time progressed our identity began to evolve in such a powerful and amazing way!  What we soon realized was that the "Lighthouse" for so many to seek direction in, had also become an opportunity for hope, restoration, and healing.  We began to notice our church body developing in their spiritual life and operating in their God-given spiritual gifts.  Lives are being changed, hope is being restored, and the kingdom of God is being advanced.

The beauty of such development is recognizing when and why you are ready to step into a new and fresh identity. 

Calling ourselves "Diversity Church" isn't just a brand change to attract new members... but rather our true identity in who God is in us, and through us.  We all come together with different strengths, and gifts that have impact in people's lives and advance God's kingdom.  We thrive knowing that our differences should never divide us, but rather unite us as the Body of Christ (His Church) by reaching the lost, and by offering the only hope that can sustain us... Jesus Christ.

"Diversity" can mean a lot of things to a lot of people... for some it's a difference in racial background, for others it can be social background, economic background, or cultural background... but to us, Diversity means applying our different kingdom gifts and uniting them by building strong Christ-filled relationships that advance the kingdom of God.

When we come together as ONE CHURCH we can accomplish more!

We all have a path, we all have history, and we all have a story... and when we all come together, we operate in ONE WAY, ONE TRUTH, and ONE LIFE.  JESUS!
